new energy vehicles
With the upgrade and iteration of new energy vehicle battery technology, battery packs need to have a longer cruising range and higher energy density. When the battery is thermally out of control, it is often accompanied by the ejection of hot gas. Due to the fast jet air velocity and high temperature, the internal structure of the battery is quickly destroyed, and some materials inside the battery will be ejected along with the airflow. The temperature of these high-temperature sprays can reach over 1500℃ in an instant, and they contact the surrounding batteries, accelerating the spread of thermal runaway. Under the impact of high-temperature flames, they can quickly burn through the battery pack shell, ignite the body, and seriously threaten the safety of the cockpit.
